OK, i had a leak at that shutoff valve (repop tower clamps.) Replaced with worm gear clamps, filled up coolant, and connected that vacuum hose. Success! Great heat!
But the blower wouldn't work on high. After 15 mintutes of research, i figured out there was a blower motor high relay. I tested it, was good. Found someone had a 2 amp fuse in the lead behind the alternator. I think it's supposed to be 20? It was blown. replaced, and all speeds work!
Horn doesn't work. Tracked down to a bad, newer repop relay (the delco stamped one.) Key buzzer didn't work either, took column apart to look into horn, and the buzzer switch connector thing is missing. (People, just unplug it at the firewall if you don't like it!)
Anyways, tested there and it works if you short it manually. So i have a buzzer switch, ign cyl (mine was sloppy), and horn relay on the way and those are knocked out. Got a glove box light on the way since mine is missing, two new hideaway covers since the plastic is severely damaged where they mount on mine so i can't adjust them for better alignment.
Headrests are getting recovered as we speak, need and alignment and A/C charged. Have to look into a drivers door window rattle when it's down, and sloppy door handle engagement, and a repair on the drivers side roller hinge.
Then i think...gasp...the car might be DONE?!
