That's why it is so light. A friend of mine was working on a ford pick up, the radiator support was magnesium. He had it on the floor and wanted to see how it burned.He was changing it. He took a torch to it. It got going, he got scared, said it was like a huge road flare that he could not put out! He almost called the fire dept. had to let it burn out.
