I have a SD cnc'd TII now that I'm playing with and got an all time best 60' of 1.52 with it, but I also had my converter restalled to 4200. On a sketchy track at over 2000' to 2300' DA I was getting low 11 teens where with the RPM and 3300 stall would have been in the 11.30's in that air. I have a tapered 1" spacer under the carb on the TII, the RPM was too tall to fit one.
Derek, would you consider Dave's CNC job to be fully ported? It's opened to 2.3" tall and ported to just past the turn. There doesn't appear to be any taper from the plenum to the head. Is there something to be gained raising the port roof at the plenum?
Sorry if I hijacked your thread TA. Great job with the 3.08's!
