I wonder if Dave @ SD has ported very many Performer RPM's??? or if they can be ported???
Interesting thing about a Q-Jet. You can vary the CFM by making a stop for the air flap arm. Of course your's and Andy's are pretty honk'n big engines, I doubt there'd be any gain by reducing the CFM on either engine, as you have found. Would be easiest do do on a Q-Jet...
