The thin plate version adapter will work on performer or rpm intake. However, on a stock intake you need a 4 hole square bore to spread bore adapter. Typically an inch or bit less tall.

IF the throttle body has provision for small or large bolt pattern, a thin adapter(@1/8" like the AFB/Holley adapter for Performer or RPM that Edelbrock sells) on a stock intake, would require making clearance and some blending at the throttle bores of the intake.
