In NJ, a lot of the popular cruising roads from back in the day now have signs that say "no cruising zone". I live in San Jose now, and I see those signs around where I live.
What I have found is guys will cruise their classics near the piers in San Francisco on friday and saturday night. Many of them have amazing paint jobs, but they are the ones with hydraulics and 12" wheels.
