Hey Skip, after a little digging, it seems it is possible to flash the 1.0 XFI ECUs to the new 2.0 version, using an option file from FAST. That gives the older ECU the qwik-tune auto-tune capabilities. There's info regarding here:

One thing I think which is a drawback is that if you ordered the 1.0 unit with data logging you lose that feature at time of upgrade, or that's what I got out of it.
Believe as long as the part number is 301000 you are golden. Not sure if there's a cost associated with the option file, I may dig on that a little more...
