Last time I went, I took my '73 Formula that had fresh paint.. so it looked great from a distance;
If you got closer you saw it had the wrong seats...
When you got closer still, it had a '77-W72 c/w #62 heads, a '72 intake, 7042264 (with the fuel bowl vent shaved off), and a my 1970's air cleaner...
Needless to say, the organizers had a tough time figuring out where to put me.
... and flying solo for that whole trip isn't
that fun (thank goodness for Leigh and his buddy!).
