Just bought an WC engine that came out of a 53k mile original 78 400 4sp gold car. Although I didn't get to see the car, I believe it is a Y88. I saw the front end panel that came off the car, and it had y88 striping. Owner hired a shop to pull the drivetrain, install an LS6 with, I believe, a corvette subframe and independent rear set up. Aftermarket gauges, custom dash, etc. Basically, the owner f***'d up a nice original car. Anyway, the engine that I bought still had the shaker drain hose, and I wanted to get you guys' thoughts on it. Looks molded, but I suppose the bends could be due to the rubber from a straight hose being hardened into that shape over the years? The hose has the ribs on it and markings that I believe say, "GM6107M-CIP". Also note the pinch clamp.
