Yes, you can remove it that way, but if you have hideaway lights you will
have to unbolt the light assemblies from the bumper and leave them hanging on the car
due to the pivot arm routed thru the holes in the bumper brackets. I've always thought that
the brackets should have a slot in the front of the hole so that the whole bumper could be removed with the headlight assemblies still attached.
