Default A/C help for installing stv kit on 65 GTO

Just purchased a stv (suction throttling valve) update kit for converting the stv valve under the hood into a pressure cycling system. It upgrades the ancient stv system to a more modern system w/o changing the stock a/c appearance.
Have anyone of you Pontiac GTO experts done this before?

If so, how much trouble was it to attach the temp sensor to the evaporator? I am aware the right inner fender has to be removed. Does removing this inner fender allow sufficient access to see and attach the temp sensor to the evaporator.

Any information will be helpful. Thanks
