Good Job, Gavin, on the extra effort to get the starter in the right location (Hole Center Placement) on the parts as well as help create some info for the other Pontiac Block configurations.

If you assume that the Ansen people knew their jobs, the 55-60 bellhousing offered in the "For Sale" section shows the starter bolt holes to be in line with the centerline of the starter shaft and at approximately at 63 degrees, from horizontal, not at 69 degrees (40 + 29) as in the Wilhite drawing.
