S-10 brakes in a first gen Fiebird
I'm considering the S10 rear disc swap and have been searching the forums but have a few unanswered questions.
Every swap I have seen has been on Lemans/GTO or 2nd gen F-body.
Does the first gen bird require the different backing plates due to staggered shocks or does the extra room because of narrower spring perches make that un-necessary?
If not necessary, does the 2wd or 4wd make for a better fit.
Any help or insight appreciated.
