Buddies showed up tuesday nite so we decided to bring it to life. No issues other than a leak on the p/s pressure side at the box. Its degreed at 35 all in at 2300 (weak springs) and no ping but will step up to some stiffer springs. Top end is very quiet after 40 minute initial run. Carbs restored by jon havens were nuts on. No adjustments required. Tranny is difficult to shift but expected for the 200 mile breakin. Drove it 10 miles yesterday. Brakes good. No hesitation whatsoever and it is pulling hard. Oh yeh. Nice lopey idle but the dynomax turbos are doing their job. No drone and pretty quiet at idle. Got an issue with the clutch so will have time this winter to research and resolve. Acts like it needs a heavy duty return spring. Overall? Bob is a happy camper...
