Brad, let there be no misunderstanding I'm not here to contradict your findings nor your personal choice of filters or filter material, that's your choice and I respect your opinion and research. Personally I have no issues with WIX filters nor have I ever had oil related issues with them that I'm aware of, and over 20 years now I've had seven different engine combinations in my Trans Am, from the original RAII 400 engine to a 700 hp/7000 rpm combination.
