Anyone else prefer that the carpet would have been left in even though it was in poor shape. Stuff like date codes, seat bolt covers and hardware always seem to disappear along with the carpet.

Taking the carpet out prolly SAVED the floors....if it was ever stored outside...or in a damp environment.....YOU should know that....considering where you live...

A WET carpet becomes a science project....AND... turns the floors into a "rust fest" really QUICK..
