what I am seeing, I believe, is that when you get off the mainstream favorites there is great quality old in the bins. The Pink Floyds, Beatles, Stones, etc are typically well played to hammered in the bins. But when you get into Mayall, Bruce, Papa John, you get music that probably was owned by someone with at least a decent platter they played on. Someone who had broader taste and probably loved their records. Someone who had "a collection" so Papa John actually was only played a few times. Kind of what I found this week, and I pick very picky, why not? Some very great shape oldies, so a great week with some oddity tid bits of gems for me, filled some holes in the collection for sure. The spiritual Dylan were like the only two missing Dylan's, so I actually "finished" an artist with them, and his mainstream USA catalog alone is huge..... prolific fellar....
