I'm a big advocate of the 4L80E, sure many here are aware of that! I have to say it's one of the best upgrades I've ever done on my Lemans, hands down. I did an install thread on the swap, might find some useful info there.
One thing that I've heard is that the TCI '6-speed' 4L80E doesn't offer engine braking, so IMO, stay away from that one.
I ran a CompuShift controller, love the flexibility of it, but on this go-around, I will be doing the Holley Dominator ECU, since I plan to go multi-point. Should have it installed and provide feedback within 3 months or so.
