My dad never had any cool cars that I remember. He was always too practical. He bought Ramblers and Dodges. It wasn't until I was a teenager that he finally bought a couple of Pontiacs. A 69 Catalina and the only new one I remember, because I coaxed him into ordering it was a 1973 Lemans Sport Coupe. It was ok but still pretty basic. That's why now I'm buying the cars that I wanted him to buy. Like my 1969 GP and '70 Bonneville convertible
