I used to go almost every Carlisle PA show back in the late 80 through the mid 90's. There was a guy up there that always had a pair of TA's or firebirds up on a display stand that were always supposedly 500 mile original mileage cars with the plastic bags still on the seats. They were clean low mileage cars but we always speculated he had found a warehouse full of interior seat bags to add to the cars after some super cleaning and detailing work. It was hard to believe he could keep finding these cars in such immaculate pristine condition but the buyers never seemed to care if they were really that original, they sold every show for 10-15k which seemed like crazy money for those back then. The next show, he'd have another pair of them and they'd sell again. We laughed about how those guys were probably master artists putting junkers back into perfect condition with a couple of ex-showroom guys coaching the cars to perfection and were taking all these guys to the cleaners on the cash. Damn, I sure wish I'd bought one of them back then, 100k for an 81 turbo-TA??!?!?!? I looked at one on a used car lot with super low mileage on it years ago for the wife. It was pretty, white with a silver interior. we passed on it because she didn't like the silver interior and also it was a Canadian car and had a KM speedo in it. Guy offered some cardboard sticker to put over the glass so it would tell mph instead!

Definitely agree on the DVR thing, it's unwatchable live with all the moronic chatter and commercials. Not sure I get a full 12 minutes of viewing time out of the 3 hours though, you must have a greater interest range than me on the cars!
