I keep forgetting these folks don't deal with ordinary working folks like most of us here.
Their clientele are mostly folks with megabucks, folks that have so much money, that paying 10 times what a classic car is worth, is chump change to them.
The black 77 and 80 T/A's are both in that catagory...or maybe the buyers both just really like the cars, they are both top condition Pontiacs. I'm guessing the guy that bought the 80 may have bought it because of the mileage AND because the car was exceptionally nice.
The 80 has strong feelings that the 77 movies cars have, probably carried over...Pontiacs finally getting the credit as super cars they deserve. Seeing overprices mopars gets old....
