We have a guy down the road from me in upstate NY that owns a P51 ... it's hard to describe how incredible it sounds when he flies over the house on a cool autumn day. To my ears it's literally the absolute pinnacle of internal combustion achievement. It absolutely sounds like a living creature, not an engine.
