Have mentioned this before, my Dad worked for GMAC and had special ordered many Pontiacs. He was friends with several of the zone guys, but could not get it done, kicked the order back. Building it as a black dlx interior car, and just swapping in the camel hobnail seats should not have been that big a deal with a trim override, the car was a priority1 sold vehicle. Needless to say, I'm still irked about it and the car is still setting in the warehouse, I mothballed it in '88.
