On that note, I understand you used to be able to rebuild water pumps (please forgive my ignorance, I was born several decades too late to have lived through the musclecar period);
I have seen in POCI that there is a company offering to rebuild/upgrade pumps, but rarely read of people simply rebuilding them - are you getting the service advertised in POCI done, or did you find someone here who does primo OEM rebuilds?

I have to go digging through my own (probably paltry compared to yours) parts stash, but I think I located a correct water pump for my car, and have had this in the back of my mind...
