My glass guy calls that the "shade", so windshields could be described as:
- tinted / shaded
- nontinted / shaded
- nontinted / nonshaded ("water clear" on da whole ting)

This pertains to tint. Side and rear glass never got the shade.
(Most of us know this but I'm clarifying that in thinking about future searches by the as-yet-uninitiated DarkSider.)
