So, based on the pictures that Mike Noun and I believe it is Carl (68Ragtop) were kind enough to post we made a few changes to the Gold Car's wiring today to get it closer to assembly line correct. The main harness on the right side of the engine was rerouted, the ground was moved, and the bolt the ground attaches was switched 180 degrees. It looks really cool. I love this car, and love being in the garage... Also, I found a correct 2nd Gen/2nd Gen "sort of hairy" hose and we did some tweaking on the air cleaner intake side. I'll have another post on the whole hose thing, but I think there was a three step transition - hairy, sort of hairy, and vinyl. Probably a good story here for Mr. Noun. Here's some pictures.
