Yep, not a '56. The old Ford took the hit well. Looking at the noggin imprint in the windshield I suspect the driver did not fare so well.
In '95 I traveled that road (headed back from Santa Barbara) and saw the area where the wreck happened. From what I remember lots of orange groves nearby and pretty good visibility for that time.
