He doesn't "love" bikes, he's mentally ill ... if he loved bikes he would send them to good homes. To be honest I'm disgusted by people that horde this kind of great old iron.

I saw a very similar "collection" last summer. Probably a hundred cars or more. Some very desirable, some not so much and some just junk. Most were deteriorating from poor storage, rodents running rampant. I saw raccoon tracks in a quarter inch of dust on top of a late '40s convertible. He had only a couple of running cars in the whole bunch.
There were several GTOs (half dozen maybe) that could still be saved but he didn't seem to have any interest in selling.
It was just sad.
