the two screws on the left side are correct, it screws into the console itself not a floor bracket (I think there are four inserts that act as the nuts pressed into the console inlay panel.
Because there is no floor bracket for the 8 track itself Firebirds (unlike all the other 69 Pontiac models) need a ground strap for the 8 track player.
The combination of an 8 track and a stereo radio was almost $400 in 69, big money!
