Germany then, from a practical standpoint to win would need to rely ( Hitler didn't know this only Speer ) on it's limited number super weapons like the ME 262, Me163, V-1 (first cruise missile ) , V-2 ( first supersonic ballistic missile ) , Type 21 Submarine ( first teardrop hull, smooth sail capable of 20+ knot submerged speed with homing torpedoes ) They also had retro boots that were the first successful launching of a missile from a submerged submarine( we didn't get that until the 60's). With the V-2 they were not only going to put a nuke warhead on it, they unlike the U.S. with a atomic bomb, were using heavy water to go a step further and produce a Hydrogen Bomb.
You must realize these weapons would not be built in mass quantities and this is the position the U.S. finds itself in today. For massive retaliation we are fine, but for a long and protracted war we do not have the manufacturing capabilities to sustain a war. Due to the largest corporate tax rate in the free world we have sent our manufacturing, and lately much of the IT stuff abroad, and in many cases to our enemy.

No question that the U.S. is a different kind of country today than it was then. Let's pray that we never have to face a test like that anytime soon. I'm afraid the outcome would be far different.
