As long as the oil return lines are down with no up turns or curves. My turbo is mounted on the passenger side so I went to the front right of the pan.
I used a 8an line to my oil pan for a dip stick. while you are building you pan you can weld a bung in for it. My canton pan had a bung so I used it. Now my dipstick can not blow out because the an fitting holds it in.
