I plan to use the fuel pump hole as a vent for the bottom end on my Firebird, I drilled and tapped the other side of the front cover for a 1/2"npt and will have a -12 oil return.
With 800 HP the body will likely want to roll from all the power, I would think you would want that front bar back in and likely a rear bar too.
