The Delco 1108446 are for '71 400's & the standard 455. They work on anything. I have one on my HO. Gave up on finding a good 1108436 I could afford. It's still a high torque starter so it will start anything.

As for what it is worth, I'm guessing $100 to some one who’s putting a 400 or non HO 455 car back right.

Generic re-manufactured starters with a warranty are $50 at O’Reilly. Kind of depends on if someone needs numbers matching.

That date code you showed (0 A 65)is a puzzler. Makes you think it might be January something 1970, but that is crazy early for '71 model parts. I suspect your 70 Formula had it's starter replaced somewhere down the line with a auto parts store rebuilt starter. The re-builder may have stamped the 5 next to the 6 to identify the year it was done. It's just a wild guess, there ain't 65 days in a month. That date may mean something to somebody here on the forum. I ain't got a clue.
