I just used Swageloc fittings: 90 degree 1/2" id out of the heads, 1/2" hard tubing to the oil pan and 1/2" 90 degree fittings screwed into welded bungs in a custom steel oil pan.

There isn't a lot of oil that gets to the valve covers with Smith Brothers .080" restricted pushrods.
