Mike Morgan has his 350 powered '77 Bird running in Super Stock at Indy.

On the SS qualifying sheet, there is also a guy named Jim Clark, running an '05 GA in the SS/AM class. According to the sheet, the car is powered by a 439 Pont engine. Is anybody familiar with this car ? Does it have Pontiac power ?
I think I've ask this question before, but don't remember if I got an answer. The car runs 8.50's. I assume it's not a Pontiac engine. But, if it is, I certainly don't wanna leave him out. If it is a Pontiac, could somebody post some details about the engine, please ? I'm not familiar with the SS/AM class rules.
