Meanwhile, the 428 block. I'm guessing it has maybe 10-20k on it, you can see a 'ridge' but you can't feel it. Had Speed-Pro forged pistons. Cleanup and re-ringing it is not my first choice, but if this car is going to see the road before I retire, I'm running it, unless I hit the lottery The rest of the car is going to absorb a LOT of my cash. It won't be a daily driver in any case.



I've run worse-looking and they ran fine, but that shiny line about halfway down the bore bothers me. Taking it to my machinist this week for a cleaning and Magnaflux, if it passes, a hone and cam bearings. 'Mo money, 'mo money.
