Can't really post a photo since the car is not here, It is a cameo white 77 I think firebird. Center of the rear roof about 1/2in in from the window moulding,, interior screw put small outy in roof. He tried to carefully tap it down but because the paint job is so nicely done it is visible. It looks to me like he might be able to block it level using the material thats on the car. It will be a matter of touching it with primer if necessary , getting some white back on what would hopefully be as small an area as possible blending into the roof away from the rear window. He works at a shop, not as a regular painter but does know the drill as far as sanding and prepping, The shop I guess does not use PPG but it his preference doing rest at home, he is very capable but wants to attempt this repair and get it as right as possible the first time before considering the whole roof and quarters being shot again. He asked me to post here more to find any input on any experience with blending agents? and or tricks of the trade that might help. Thanks
We both know how hard it is to get completely invisible results doing this, Hence the reason he is so upset about this, A magic wand would be really helpful if anyone has one.
