I would go over Tyvek and tack flashing. If you want to go all the way, you can caulk the nail heads before you drive all the way in, but this is probably going too far since the idea is for no moisture to actually get to the flashing to begin with. Even if it does, the only place it should really be an issue is at the bend.

I was a perfectionist for a long time. After all the stuff I have seen on jobs, I am worrying about things being perfect less and less.
