Spectator side stands are quite old and seats have a history...Early years of baseball Nashville had a stadium... when they tore the stadium down (late 50's, early 60's)the owners of BeechBend aquired them. (Free if they took them all iirc) Owners of BeechBend own Music City dragway which they opened around '57 or '58. BeechBend was bought and built sometime after that. Still same family that own both tracks.
BeechBend is an awesome piece of property!

The place will be packed this weekend for the Holley HotRod reunion(temp forecast looks like mid to high 80's).

I'm actually headed back up to Beech Bend tomorrow morning. I'm going with my neighbor who has a 64 Chevelle 2dr wagon and a 65 Malibu SS, both drag cars. Bringing the wagon this weekend to race in S/S.
