Default Norwalk Q-1

The 1st round of qualifying is done, in Stock & SS, at Norwalk. Julie Biermann & Randi Lyn Shipp both qualified in the high 10's, with their 1st gen Birds.

Jim Clark qualified his SS/AM '00 GA, with a 9.05.

I'm not familiar with the SS/AM rules. Jim's GA is listed with a 439 Pontiac engine. So, for some of you guys who know, or at least have a rule book, what are the engine rules for this class ?

This is all I've found, so far.

"...Super Stock Modified. These are the old Modified Production classes of Modified Eliminator. Seven classes, SS/AM to SS/GM. These cars are allowed the most modifications of just about any S/S class(es). Dual-four barrel carburetors are used by the majority of the cars..."
