61 and 62 have a thicker wall blocks where 63 are thinner. If you are not going to build a race motor out of it, it really doesn't matter.

61-2 used a flat top pistion in the 10.25:1 4 cylinders and dished in the 8.6:1 motors, 63 all were flat tops and the difference in compression ratio was with the head.

61 had a different 4bbl intake than the 62-3's.

63 has the alternator bracket.

I put a 63 motor in a 62 Tempest, everything will bolt up.
