Chiphead, I believe they would be a great head for a 4" stroke street/strip motor. If one is using round port headers anyway, Highports are the most versatile head out there. If you order new from Kauffman you can get smaller intakes and exhaust valves in these heads for a smaller cube engine. I had them do a set with 2.075 intakes and 1.625 exhausts. They still flowed 317 and 202 @ .700 with good velocity in the port. These were bolted to a +0.30 389 cubic inch pump gas motor. I did use a victor on this combo, but the northwind intake is available now and more suited to these heads in stock form.
