It was an absolute privilege to be there and Rick Roso could not have been a more accommodating host! He says they get a ton of requests for shoots like that and grant maybe a handful each year depending largely on the car and it's significance to the sport.
We had the track from 7:00 to 8:30 and he stayed with us the whole time, helping set up shots, move the car and even drove Hannah's jeep so that she could take the action shots out of the back! Because of the exhaust and noise ordinances we only got in 1 full lap, and even that was cheating as I popped it into neutral for several sections.
