Tom, Thank God for protecting you through such a life altering event. Like you said we all love this sport and the reason we do it is because of the danger it presents. The Adrenalin rush keeps us wanting more like a drug. Once you have the addiction it's hard to kick the habit. Good luck with your recovery.
