I agree, it would be nice to have a cheaper block, duplicating say a RAV/SD455 style lifter galley, "straight" 4 bolt mains and even allow larger bores like the current aftermarket blocks have. But then comes the question, what would it cost to produce said block compared to the IAII or MR1's out there now?


There has been someone that has/had that interest & ability for that kind of block for a while but too many people have given him so much trash over his current offerings that this is very unlikely now.
