Correct, one of the very few factory q-jets that did not have a ported vacuum source for the advance.

1970 was an "odd-ball" year for that sort of thing, they were trying different methods to employ the advance thru "indirect" sources, switches, etc.

It didn't work out all that well, and after 1970 that port will be there on most factory q-jets.....Cliff
