I strongly agree with the belt tension gauge. The adjustment using the 'deflection measurement' with a straight edge and rule has always left some doubt in my mind about the accuracy as nobody pushes the same amount and can then measure exactly the deflection at the same time.
Off the subject but the 2 photo`s of Matt and Ron`s engine bay are great. Except don`t forget that the rare and special p/s pulley is bright finished not black. This is a unique pulley to 64 with P/S and A/C. All examples I have ever examined are bright cad.
