[65 Cat 2+2]

I bought my '65 2+2 in 2007, got it on the road for it's first shakedown in July, 2009 - 900 miles round trip from DE to POCI Dayton Convention. Between that trip and 2014 (when I acquired my first trailer and tow vehicle) I drove the car over 25,000 miles in 4 years:
5 trips to Norwalk - 900 miles r/t
POCI Convention 2010 Charleston, WV 900 miles r/t
POCI Convention 2011 Bowling Green, KY 1600 miles r/t
POCI Convention 2012 St. Charles, IL 1600 miles r/t (non-stop 15-hour return drive of 800 miles)
POCI Convention 2013 Dayton, OH 900 miles r/t
6-10 trips per year to drag strips in NJ & MD, where the odometer reading was bumped 1/4-mile at a time doing an average of 6 passes/outing
During all those trips the car only let me down one time - failed master cylinder on the PA Turnpike.
I'm proud to say this car has served me well as a "triple threat" - great cruiser, points-judged award winner, drag strip performer.
