455Grin..I don't have a shaker hood on this car.I have a fiberglass "twinturbo"style hood.It does give me more clearance.Torquewar(Andy)runs a factory hood and a shaker.He has a thread here,he runs a conical filter,factory shaker and I believe a modified base.He is able to use a spacer under his Holley with his Torker 2..I forget the thickness but I think its 3/4 inch.
On my old car with a factory shaker hood when using a Holley,one inch spacer and a Torker 2 I used a Moroso air pan with a "Dude" Scoop attached to it with a small filter inside for the street at the track I'd remove the filter.
This is the current setup works pretty well especially when its cold out.
