Well its a long story. When I bought the car the motor that was on it was junk. Bought a one speed motor after a LONG search and bolted it on. They worked for about 10 swipes and the linkage disintegrated. Order linkage off ebay. It was not any better than what I had to begin with, I mean it was so rusted I think they salvaged it from the bottom of a lake. Sent it back after a long dispute on Paypal with the seller. Ordered another set from ebay. It was missing the clips that hold the linkage together and I didnt notice. Worked for about 5 seconds and fell apart. Sent it back no problem guy was super nice. Ordered NEW repro from dynacorn. Needless to say it was overseas junk that binded the first time it was used. It would make a 1/4 swipe and lock the motor down. It would not make a full revolution no matter what I did, so I sent it back. Another paypal dispute. Then I found a set off a 66 on ebay that looked too good to be true. Bought them and paid a little more than I wanted too but paid less than I had for the Repro. They literally just fell onto the car and hooked right up. It was so easy I just knew they were not going to work. Well so far so good. Buttoned everything up and of course we are in a draught and all of NC is on fire so I got them fixed after I needed them but they are done. Sorry for the long post.
